Is it the body, place of the political? Think about the social movement of legs crossed

Abstract

The new subjectivities and the emerging global society, have allowed to highlight needs for reflection and study on the
notions of body. It is interesting that they are within the scenario of social movements emerge questions as: is a place of
the political body? And that re - defines the body in the subject of Defense of one’s own, of the interpretation of reality,
the relationship with the other and creation of critical cultural codes of the global society.
This article is clear from a series of theoretical considerations that are framed in a process of research on the social
movement of legs crossed, starting with reflections on the modern disappointments on the body and the woman, to
the understanding of the body as a place of the political board through the eyes of the social movements of legs crossed
