Socio-historical genealogy of eroticism in older adults

Abstract

Eroticism is a process of historical and sociocultural construction and production has represented an area of strong censure for corporations. This criticism tends to manifest in regulations and standards through which societies determine the inclusion and exclusion of subjects to erotic pleasure, which is lived and adopted as moral conditioning and defines the “should be” social. One of these moral constraints represents the denial and repression of the exercise of eroticism in old age. No clutch, how the exclusion of the erotic life of older adults is legitimized?, What are the mechanisms and devices used for this purpose ? In an attempt to answer these questions, this article aims to analyze the process of legitimization of the completion of the erotic life in old age from its socio- historical genealogy.
