El placer como categoría psicológica y socio-política

Abstract

This article forms part of an inquiry for the doctoral thesis "The pleasurable experiences in school: an
analysis from the life stories of individuals with doctoral level" (Magallanes, 2014). In this study, that describes
some forms of assumed pleasurable experiences, focuses on the processes of subjective appropriation
of the school from critical theories in contemporary social theory.
Considering as soon raised, this paper is an attempt to interrogate the pleasure like psychological and
socio-political category, from the contributions of Herbert Marcuse. Particularly, there is an interest to
transit for the places of existence, where Marcuse opens opportunities to think about the double-sided,
double edged, where the pleasure is manifested.
