Abstract
In this paper I intend to describe the ways people exercising queer genders or sexualities used to build their subjectivities and bodies in Argentina during the 1970s and 1980s. I will begin by reflect-ing on the pictures those people took and were taken during secret parties which used to take place at various sylvan islands in the Parana River delta, within a broader neighborhood called Ti-gre. I will base my work on the constructivist thesis which states the lack of distance between gender and gender expression, and I will study those photos in order to find out about the way the pictures relate to their selvatic environment, the contrasting building of chongos and locas, two of the main sexual identities of that time, as well as the way both use bodies to produce femininity and masculinity. Finally I will suggest two hypotheses to explain why those people massively mi-grated from the city to the Parana River delta.
