Abstract

The present article follows from a research work that sought to explore the displays of political emotionality within the Eighth March of the Cap. This demonstration has a high juvenile component and is held annually in Cordoba (Argentina), with the aim of installing a complaint against the security policies of this province. Understanding the March as an experience of juvenile political subjectivation, the political elaboration of the emotions as a key dimension of the process was attended to. In order to do so, we sought to identify the different climates and emotional nuances that the experience-Marcha brought about, considering the discursive constructions that the participating subjects make according to their own experiences. It was based on a qualitative approach that included: in-depth interviews and photo elucidation, collective ethnographic registration and document review. The dialogue of different theoretical perspectives around the emotions, thought in collective key, gave rise to a series of reflections about the ties between political emotionality and subjectivation within the collective action. Finally, the expressive and artistic repertoire that characterizes the March, allowed to realize the centrality of corporality in the processes of resistance.
