Abstract
The food is a source of energy and social‐sensory enjoyment, particularly during the childhood or‐ der everyday life, time and space, associated with it children learn norms, values and ways of relat‐ ing. Then, some reading lines of the feeding practices and commensality ways of the children in popular sectors will be exposed. We recognize that such experience is increasingly operated by the food policy implemented by the state of Cordoba. That policy, decides and says: what, how, with whom, where you eat, and also if you eat that day. This operative over the bodies silently performs sensitivity ways, forms of being and living with others, and behind the "assistance" is hidden an identity policy that determines the chances of being and desired capacity of the children.
