Abstract
The present text intends to present, through an ethnographic narrative, how call girl’s Body is used during social interaction with clients in routine situations within a Brazilian cabaret. Based on anth-ropological theoretical references, it analyzes how these women build their everyday relations in an environment of prostitution, aiming specifically on the social uses of their own bodies. This text in-tends to contribute to the studies on corporality, social interaction, gender, and sociability in describ-ing the main events on this network. The discussion, which is presented here in a condensed form, can be considered a frame for other categories of analysis that were investigated and discussed in the book of author: “Nights of Cabaret: female prostitution, gender and sociability on a prostitution area.”
